Ayatollah Al-Qazwini
delivers a speech in
Ahlul-Bait
International University |
Ayatollah Al-Qazwini lectured at Ahlul-Bayt Islamic University in
Karbala during the last days of Ramadan. His eminence spoke of the
importance of obtaining an Islamic education and learning Islamic
jurisprudence as well as learning the general laws taught at the
university.
Ayatollah Al-Qazwini spoke first of the responsibilities of people
during the holy month of Ramadan. Some of these responsibilities
include working to resolve problems that rise among the people of the
community; that they must do their best to bring peace and harmony to
their communities.
He also spoke of the necessity to seek enough education to become
potent members of their communities, leaders such as university
professors, business owners, mayors,
accountants, and spokesmen.
Ayatollah Al-Qazwini explained that when people are well-trained, they would be self-sufficient and mostly independent of outside
needs. They would use their knowledge to help build a community based on
education, justice and Islamic order. |
