Imam Qazwini begins Ramadan 1425-2004 program |

| As the holy month of Ramadan of 1425
approached, the nightly programs at the Islamic Center of
America and the Young Muslim Association commenced, both under
the leadership of Imam Sayid Hassan Al-Qazwini. Imam Sayid
Hassan Al-Qazwini has been leading and speaking in the Ramadan
program at the Islamic Center of America for 12 consecutive
years, and 6 consecutive years at the Young Muslim Association.
Imam Sayid Hassan Al-Qazwini delivers speeches in English and Arabic
about Islamic Jurisprudence, and other teachings of Islam
through stories about the Holy Prophet Mohammad and his holy
progeny, parables, analogies and commentary of the Qur'an.
This year, the English program held at the YMA will be hosting
two inspiring speakers. Ayatollah Sayid Fadhil Al-Milani will
speak for the first 13 nights at the YMA. The rest of the holy
month of Ramadan, Sayid Mahdi Al-Modarresi will speak at the
YMA. As for the Arabic program, Imam Qazwini himself will speak
each night at the Islamic Center of America. Through this annual commemoration of the holiest month of Allah,
Imam Sayid Hassan Al-Qazwini hopes to enlighten people about Islam,
the message it carries, the teachings of the religion and to
clear the common misconceptions about Islam. |
